Welcome to the Southern Scribes training course. We are excited that you are joining our team, and we look forward to meeting you in the emergency department (ED)!
This course will provide an overview of our company’s mission and values, medical scribe duties and expectations, medical terminology, anatomy, and common cases seen in the ED. These courses are meant to prepare you for the final exam, but you are also encouraged to utilize the scribe manual, medical terminology flashcards, and other resources to supplement your learning in the modules and to ensure that you are prepared for the final exam.
You will be paid for completing the modules once you have finished the final exam. Pay is dependent on the length of the modules and quizzes. The entire training course should take roughly ten hours of instruction time.
