What does a medical scribe do?

A medical scribe performs documentation of clinical visits under the supervision of a physician or other medical practitioner.

What qualifications do I need to become a scribe?

All training needed to become a scribe will be provided by Southern Scribes. A high school diploma or GED is the minimum education level required to work as a scribe. 

How many hours do scribes work per week?

Most of our scribes work between 20-30 hours per week. 

Does Southern Scribes offer flexible schedules for students?

Yes, we have morning, afternoon, and night scribe shifts scheduled every day of the week.
